The ‘Big Bron’ joins MJ Abbott fleet

MJ Abbott have invested in additional specialist “no dig” machinery for the installation of pipes, cables and fibre/ducting, to compliment its already large fleet of specialised equipment.

They are proud to announce their new CAT D6T Dozer fitted with a BRON vibrating plough for the installation of pipes, cables and fibre to depths of up to 1200mm. The machine is fitted with a pipe/cable chute to place the services in the ground, under non-tension, and with a hopper to place gravel or sand at the same time. Depending on which services are being laid, a warning marker tape is automatically laid above the services. This rapid and highly efficient and method of laying services with granular backfill and marker tape, all without opening a trench, puts MJ Abbott ahead of the competition.
